It's time for another Summer Secret Beadalong!
My Summer 2018 Beadalong took place between the 28th July and 3rd August 2018 but it's never too late to join in and take part!
The beadalong is designed to be done over 7 days but you can bead it as & when you desire.
Each day will take around 30-60 minutes beading to complete and there will be some preparation beading needed beforehand (which will be sent out by the start of July to give you plenty of time to do it but you can also do each bit on the Beadalong week if desired).
This year the requirements give you a clue as to the general direction of the Beadalong but rest assured... you've never made ones like mine! So, if you've never used Carrier beads then this is a great introduction to them, but if you have used them before then this Beadalong will show you some new & unique designs. The detailed instructions will also cover turning them into a finished piece which you can wear with pride once the week is over.
The full requirements list (which you'll be able to download instantly when you sign-up) is not complicated and only contains items you should easily be able to find (or which may already be in your stash). The general requirements are:
As always the project is a complete secret and is designed as a personal challenge for you.
The project is suitable for all levels of beader as the only knowledge required is Odd-Count Peyote Stitch (everything else will be laid out step-by-step for you) and has brand new components and design ideas perfect to offer something new to any more advanced beaders.
