Fakes And Fabulous

I finished London Jewellery Week with more demonstrations and some really interesting talks.The talks were by Jack Ogden of the Gemological association of Great Britain and covered the history of gemstones and the history of fakes and forgeries in the gemstone world- very interesting.

Red Letter Day

Got some great news today- Geometric 3.4.4 has won 1st place in the bracelet category of the 2008 Bead Art Awards and Geometric 2.8.1 (Collar For A Rangoli Girl) has won 2nd place in the necklace category.
