Had an incredibly busy week last week but took Saturday off to have fun and spent the day playing around with Polymer Clay. Despite all my previous hopeless attempts leaving me feeling distinctly un-optimistic beforehand, I had a great day and am really pleased with all the beads I made.

Phew! I have been very busy beading and finally managed to finish Geometric 2-8-5 and am now merrily working away on 2-8-6 as I loved one of the designs on 2-8-5 so much I wanted to make a whole necklace using it!

I finished London Jewellery Week with more demonstrations and some really interesting talks.The talks were by Jack Ogden of the Gemological association of Great Britain and covered the history of gemstones and the history of fakes and forgeries in the gemstone world- very interesting.
