Any time I think I have a handle on life it throws me a curveball and then I'm in New York looking at paintings by Monet and Picasso before sitting at what feels like the top of the world drinking fabulous cocktails and watching the sun go down.

Kew Gardens is always a wonderful place to visit but at the moment, when the sun's out and there's lots of Dale Chihuly pieces there, it's especially magical.
