2018 ends today and a new year begins.

I'm ending the old year and starting the new one in the nicest way possible - being away with friends and enjoying good food & drink, fun conversation, a quiz and lots of board games - heaven.

As the photos shown here show 2018 was another colourful year and one full of beading and design.

I was pleased to get to travel a lot this year with trips to Cornwall, New York, Texas and California and got to spend time with lots of friends overseas which is always a joy to me.

I have lots of resolutions for 2019 including:

• Do more open water swimming
• Make sure I make a 1 second a day video every day (which I have done for a whole 388 days now which I think is the longest I've ever committed to any resolution!)
  
• Bead more
• Stitch more
• Read more (my new collection of Peanuts books will help me with this)
• Complete these '40 questions to ask yourself each year'
  
• Watch more films
• Bead something just for myself
