First up the good- I taught yesterday at The Bead Trail in Cheshire and had a great day. It was lovely to meet up with old friends, discover new ones and put faces to name for people I have emailed, chatted with on Face book and who even made samples for Geometric Beadwork.

The book is on its last stage before heading to the printer. All that's happening now is one final check of all the photos and diagrams etc (this must be the most checked over book in the history of publishing!) then it will be uploaded and the presses will roll.

I have already posted out some of the book kits to those who couldn't wait for the book but I'm now busy packing up all the rest and relying on YouTube music to get me through.

The ups are the book is 'this close' to going to print. This means that soon it will be here with me and then winging its way to everyone who ordered it.

The book is just about done. It's all written etc, I'm just waiting for the page designer to finish with all the photos and then it can head to the printer.

Everything is so manic here at the moment that I have neither physically nor mentally been able, or inclined, to attend two of my favourite events of the year: London Cocktail Week and the Knitting & Stitching Show.

I have so many classes planned for 2013 (and lots more still awaiting confirmation) that I'm pretty much done for the year. And I don't even want to think about what I have started to commit myself to in 2014...
