I knew when I first decided 20 years ago to one day decorate a wall with a paint chart that there was no way I'd ever be able to do the lettering by hand so I found a great place to order vinyl lettering online and today they arrived and despite being laid up in bed with an ear infection I was soon...

It's only a few days to go now until National Beading Week starts and my Secret Bead-Along officially begins. With over 4,000 people around the world now taking part I'm very eager to see the pieces begin to take shape and all the colours choices appear.

I'm beading like crazy and have gone back to my Icos design to make some very sparkly earrings. These crystals are just ridiculously beautiful and so full of colour and depth. Each colour I choose I manage to fall more in love with than the last.

My life is crazy hectic at the moment between beading, having family staying (always lovely!) and trying to keep on top of everything I fell into bed early last night, exhausted, only to be woken up bright flashes of lightning with no accompanying sound of thunder and no rain... very eerie
