It's only a few days to go now until National Beading Week starts and my Secret Bead-Along officially begins. With over 4,000 people around the world now taking part I'm very eager to see the pieces begin to take shape and all the colours choices appear.

Excitingly today I got to see my first photo of a finished piece and it was just as lovely as I had hoped it would be. Beaded by Maria Cristina Grifone I'm showing a sneak, very edited and cropped photo here but I promise to show the full version on the bead-along's Facebook page after the 1st August. You don't need to be a member of Facebook to view the page so do go and check-put all the colour combinations of the preparation work people have done so far.

I'm still busy beading earrings and my work has taken a fruity turn inspired by thoughts of summer.
