Today I flew to Barcelona for a very long-awaited trip with Beadventures where I'll be hanging out with a group of beaders and teaching my Sacred Star project which was designed especially for this trip and inspired by the star which was added atop the Sagrada Família in 2021
I've never visited Barcelona before and it's been top of my list of places to go for many years so I'm excited to see the city I have dreamed of for so long.
After landing I headed straight to my hotel which has the most amazing rooftop view of Palau Güell which we will visit soon.
Then I headed for a wander and as it was Saint George/ Sant Jordi's day there was a celebratory mood throughout. The tradition is that today people buy each other books and roses and so the entire length of La Rambla was filled with book & rose stalls.
After my wander I headed back to the hotel and met-up with everyone else before we headed for a typical Spanish feast at Los Caracoles featuring lots of food and sangria.
