A lot of my designing life is learning to be patient and live with mistakes, design dead-ends and frustration.

Sometimes a design just doesn't work how I want it and I need to put it aside
Sometimes it's just for a night to sleep on it, but sometimes it's for years as was the case with the piece I'm finishing up at the moment.

I originally began this at least 5 years ago but wasn't happy with where I was taking it so I put it to one side... and then Swarovski launched their gorgeous 2mm pearls and it inspired me to go back to the drawing-board and rework it, using the pearls, into what it originally was trying to head for.
