I was fortunate enough to have an amazing visit to the Yayoi Kusama show ‘THE MOVING MOMENT WHEN I WENT TO THE UNIVERSE’

The infinity mirror room and the sheer impact of walking into it blew my mind - truly overwhelming and full of joy & wonder. You can see a quick video I took here which gives you some idea of the overwhelmingness of it all.

I first saw some of her work back in 2012 and it had stayed with me so as soon as I saw this I grabbed a space. If you ever get the opportunity to see any of her work, especially her infinity mirror pieces then leap at the chance.

Today’s project from my new book Rivoli Beadwork is my ‘Jo Ellen’ pendant/ brooch. This is related to the ‘Marlene’ one I showed 2 days ago but doesn’t have the central large crystal and has optional extra beading to add more pearls & embellishment.

Giving you lots of variations & ideas for new projects is something I love to do and this project, and all the other ideas included for it, is an example of that.
