Christmas 2015 Done & Dusted

posted: Monday, 28 December 2015

Christmas is over, everyone has gone home and the time has just flown by.

It was wonderful having a houseful of family and I hope to repeat it again soon.

My Christmas day food, which encompassed everything from roasted asparagus with Hollandaise sauce to Beef Wellington and lemon posset (all home-made from scratch) was a big success and I really enjoyed having the opportunity to cook which I don't do nearly enough.

I'm taking a break from tidying-up after everyone to do some beading, this is the start of Laura McCabe's Deco Bracelet kit and catch-up on the World.

Tonight I managed to do an online thing where you would see your most popular photos on Instragram this year and of my 9 there was one gorgeous Caldera bangle beaded by Louise Francis from Boxes & Busts (centre) and my beading of Windows of Sainte Chapelle bracelet from Beads Gone Wild (centre right) and all the others were photos of my beaded stars- they're eternally popular!

It's funny as the instructions for those are also on my bead mat today as I play around with them for a relaunch in 2016...
