It's all systems go here at the Power household!

My parents have arrived from France and everyone else arrives tomorrow so I'm beginning to panic and wonder why I suggested we host Christmas for the first time?!?

As well as beading Day 23 of my Secret Christmas Beadalong (I can't wait to hang this on the tree!) I'm also trying to finish up the wonderful Obsessions Necklace kit from Beads Gone Wild that I began 18 months ago. I'm hoping to have it finished to wear in 2 days... we'll see.

In addition the food preparation has begun. The brandy butter ice-cream is in the freezer and I'm making bowls and bowls of delicious spiced, caramelised walnuts ably assisted by my mum whilst we wash them down with a miniature bottle of Babycham (I admit it, I bought it for the nostalgic glass).
