Still Knitting

It's bead group today and I take along my knitting as I am determined to crack it.

I head off pleased that I finally know what I am doing now and carry on where I left off. But it soon becomes apparent that it's not right.

So I have to undo it all and start again.

Except it's still not right so I have to do the same again.

By the end of the day I come home with no knitting and an enormous sense of frustration. But I refuse to be beaten!

So, I sit down and plan out, row by row, stitch by stitch, what I think the pattern should be and it soon becomes apaprent that there are more mistakes in the instructions that I hadn't spotted.

So I then decide to knit a sample 1/4 of the width of the finished size to test out my instructions and I have a light-bulb moment.

Not only were the instructions wrong, but I was making a simple error on a row which was ruining the whole thing!

So, new instructions and a better sense of what I am doing at the ready I am determined to finish this piece!
