Sadly our trip to France ended today and after a lunch of left-overs we headed back laden down with jars of homemade jam and lots of good wishes.

I'm pleased to say we're all here together this Christmas, with partner's families etc it's only every few years we manage it, and this year we even have the added addition for the first time of my sister's dog- Peanut

We've all got jobs to do to help out and my main one is setting the table for meals. I was itching for some craft and so couldn't resist folding these Christmas Tree napkins.

We're still knee-deep in boxes and planning so have escaped to France for a family holiday. Fortunately the big storm didn't affect our journey too much and we're soon relaxing.

Almost all of the house is still in boxes as we work on sorting out essentials such as utilities and why we have so many wires which lead nowhere and do nothing.

Today was so stressful that there were times when I reassured myself if I could survive it I could deal with anything. I also wondered if how funny we thought it was moving on Friday 13th had come back to haunt us.
