My Lotus Necklace instructions are now available and I'm busy beading variations for Geometric Beadwork Volume 2.

One variation (which will also have a variation) is beading the same flower around a smaller central crystal as shown here with a 20mm crystal centrepiece pictured next to the original 30mm crystal centrepiece.

The new book will have a whole section devoted to how these variations are created and the basic maths (sorry!) needed to create your own versions and variations. Playing with thebasic principles is good fun and it builds on some of the ideas instroduced in Volume 1 but there will be much more detail in Volume 2.

I'm ridiculously excited, and terrified, as it appears our house move is going ahead- this Friday (good job were not superstitious!). Inbetween packing and dealing with all the admin side I'm also busy beading away on the exclusive project which will be available in the new year ONLY to anyone who pre-orders Volume 2. I might be able to reveal a sneak peek if amongst the chaos I can take a photo.
