A night out with friends to see tUnE-yArDs (their ridiculous spelling, not mine) at The Royal Festival Hall as part of their Women of the World season. The music was loud, energetic and full of different noises. Merrill Garbus is a great performer but I just wish they could capture all of that on record.
This is a great venue, it was built for the Festival of Britain and perfectly encompasses the style of the time.
