My mum and some friends are over from France so it's a great excuse to spend the day away from the computer and wander London.
We began with a trip to the V&A then it was onto Liberty where we gazed adoringly at the scarves wishing they weren't completely out of our budgets before heading onto Selfridges for tea and cake.
The Liberty scarf, fabric and haberdashery departments are heaven for anyone interested in colour and pattern so rush there when you can.
