New York 2014 - Day 2

posted: Saturday, 26 April 2014

An early start this morning as I need to catch the bus to Beads By Blanche in New Jersey. I have said it many times before but this really is one of my favourite places in the World. Full of beads, warmth, friendliness and fun who wouldn't love it?

Today's class is Tila Geometrics and everyone works hard and has fun with colour - which is always great as a teacher.

Another treat as a teacher is seeing beadwork done from your class or instructions and today I got to see some colourful Geometric Stars beaded by Stacy Creamer, who took that class with me back in 2009.

After class it was over to Bonnie Horowitz's (she of the crazy eraser!) for dinner with her and her mum and, on top of a delicious dinner and fantastic conversation, we had many laughs. Not least when Bonnie and I, both of us lovers of tiny things, exchanged gifts and found that great minds think alike!
