My first day of work and after yesterday's dry run I manage to find my way to Beads By Blanche nice and easily.

As soon as I walked in I was in heaven. Not only were Blanche and Wendy friendly and lovely, but the teaching room was great and the shop was chock-a-block with fabulous beads (some of which made their way into my bag to come home).

I was nice and early so had time to unpack and browse- and steady my nerves.

Not only was it my first time teaching in the States but I also knew two fantastic designers - Suzanne Golden and Marcia DeCoster - were coming to my evening class. Initimidated? Me? Yes!

But I had no need to worry. I had an absolutely fantastic time and got to meet many internet friends and make new ones- I will be back!
