Canada 2013- Day 8

posted: Thursday, 27 June 2013

After our busy and full day yesterday today got off to a slower start with a lie-in - just what I needed.

Then, fully invigorated, we headed off to shop!

We visited an antiques mall where we willed away a few hours and I managed to purchase some bead embroidery, an old hawksaw, an old enamel paint colour chart and some great books - time well spent.

After shopping we headed to Port Dover for some fried perch and celery bread then a walk as we watched the sun go down.

Debi and David, who I'm spending my days with, are great company and I don't think I have laughed so much in a long time. We share lots of the same acquaintances and have been in the same situations with the same people so it's been good to talk through lots of things and I feel myself healing physcially and mentally over these days as I absorb Vitamin D and happy thoughts. Onwards and upwards!
