Canada 2013- Day 7

I don't think I ever thought that one day I would get to see Niagara Falls so when Debi Keir-Nicholson from Beads of Colour kindly offered fro me to stay an extra few days after teaching and get to see it I couldn't say no and as I got up today I still couldn't believe I would actually get to see it.

The day began with a drive to Niagara-on-the-lake which is a beautiful town where we wandered and ate. On the way we had stopped at a winery and tasted ice wine. I have so many photos of these I could show you but I'm saving all the space for the main event- Niagara Falls.

Words cannot describe just how amazing it is to visit here in real life. if you ever get a chance to go I really recommend going on Maid of the Mist- and being prepared to get soaked.

When in front of the falls you can see, and hear (and feel as you get wet) just how powerful they are. But when you stand above them there's very little noise and the water looks to enticing... if there had been a barrel near by I would have gone over in a second.
