I'm still working on my newest geometric pendant but, due to stupidity on my part, it is taking longer than planned.
For some reason, as I am beading it I decide I have beaded a row wrong. It matches the instructions so I am confused but decide to take a few rows out. Except, of course by then I had woven through my work to a previous bit of beading to tighten it up. So as I undo my work, I end up with extra thread ends.
I try and fix it but it looks worse, so I take out a few more rows. Again it looks worse, especially when I get to the point where I wove through my work to secure the chains and crystal, so I take out a few more rows.
It only takes a couple of minutes but I have soon undone half of what I have so far beaded and of course, I know by now there was no mistake in it at all- I had just confused myself and not checked before beginning to undo. Oops.
So, my few seconds lapse in judgement mean I have to spent 3 hours re-doing what I had already beaded before I can move on. Most annoying and I only have myself to blame.
