Knitting and Stitching Show

Today I visited the Knitting and Stitching Show which is one of my highlights of the crafting year here in the UK.

My main problem is that each year I go and buy yarn, craft kits etc which I take home and promptly tidy away only to forget about them until the next year when I see them for sale again at the show- oops.

It is also the time of year when I once again delude myself with the thought that I can knit and therefore should buy yarn or kits.

Seeing as I have got absolutely no further with my knitting from last year you would think I would learn- but no.

So, over the course of the few hours I was at the show I treated myself to a devore scarf making kit and DVD from Dionne Swift, some lovely doughnut crystals and bangles from the very friendly Southampton Bead Shop and some lovely jewellery from Suzie Calder at Elements Jewellery.

I also spent a long time exploring the lovely textile galleries and seeing the great work on display. All very inspiring and I came home raring to go (and then remembered I couldn't knit).
