Phew- no rest for the wicked.

I got back from Suffolk very late Friday night and went straight on to teaching my Chain Maille Class on Saturday, which went well apart from the panic at the start because when I turned up, the electricity had gone in the whole street!

I then went straight off to France for a few days to spend time with family and fit in some more beading.

I have had an idea in my mind for the past few years about replicating the look of bead crochet, but without the pain of threading on all those beads before-hand. Or having to learn how to bead crochet!

After experimenting with it a few times I had a light-bulb moment last week, when I realised the changes I needed to make to the technique to make it work- and it works!

This is so much easier than bead crochet and I'm really pleased with it- now I just need to make a few more samples.
