I'm still in France and after the miserable weather of the past few days, today is very hot and sunny- the perfect excuse to head to the water!

We decided to pop out for lunch to the town of St Valery Sur Somme. I have never visited here before but it came highly recommended so I was intrigued and within minutes of visiting I decided I could quite happily live here for ever!

It is a beautiful town which combines great light with wonderful buildings, a lovely atmosphere and a waterside setting.

After having lunch and long walk round the town (as well as a lie in the sun and a few drinks to help us along the walks), we couldn't tear ourselves away, so stayed for dinner.
