Bead group today and I actually managed to get some work done on my competition piece.

Unfortunately I decided to use slightly different beads which look better and the end result is I now have to undo almost all I have previously done to match it all up.

So there I was thinking I had about a quarter of it done and after a days beading I've gone backwards!

The upshot is it's no way near finished but I'm happier with what is done. 

I'm still keeping it under wraps so instead you can enjoy a photo of the (controversial) folly which is in the grounds of Arundel Castle which I didn't get to see on Friday but hopefully will soon.

I love follies and soon will get a chance for my annual trip to my favourite one: Scotts Grotto.
