More Sightseeing

Another day sight-seeing in lovely, sunny England. We have had nice weather (by that I mean it hasn't rained or snowed) for a full 5 days now here and it's glorious!

I took advantage by spending the day in Arundel. I visit Arundel around once a week, as the offices of Bead magazine (which I edit) are based there, and have been doing so for 2 1/2 years but because I usually just  walk to the office from the station and don't actually see the town.

This time however I stayed an extra day to take full advantage of the weather.

We started with a late fantastic breakfast at The Arundel House which I highly recommend if you visit the area. Then for a walk around the town and a visit to the Cathedral. Unfortunately the castle wasn't open for visit yet but instead we went for a  boat trip which was lovely in the sunshine. Then onto the Black Rabbit pub to sit by the river and have lunch.

We spent the afternoon in Worthing which was my second visit to the town and this time I got to see a bit more of it. We managed to fit in a spot of shopping and sightseeing and then home again.

In an effort to keep this blog even vaguely beady here are some link to great work I found recently as well as blogs I like to read:
Ellie Fernald
No Easy Beads (Beverly Herman)
Backyard Beads (Doreen Willey)
