Virtual Zoom Beading Class - Lacuna - Group Four

This class is for evening UK/ Europe and daytime morning North America and you can see another date here.

-This is a 2-session (each 3 hours including a break) virtual Zoom beading class which will be run via the Zoom app and if you'd like to attend you will need will need to have a device audio (i.e. an iPad, iPhone or other smart phone, laptop or desktop computer) and have downloaded the Zoom app in advance of the class (the app is free and you don't need an account to attend).
-Full details & requirements will be sent out to you once you have registered and you will also need to be able to print the instructions or have them printed near you (or have another screen you can view them on.
-Please note that virtual classes are just like in-person ones, it is your responsibility to be able to attend, but if you have any questions just contact me
-Please note that as instructions are sent out when you book refunds or swapping to a different class is not possible
- Please note that class bookings are per person and if you would like multiple people to join they each need to book a place
- The level of this class is advanced - you must be very comfortable with Peyote Stitch and optionally small seed beads. If you have any questions about the level of the class then please do just contact me before you book

The Project

My Lacuna series of beadwork is formed of a geometric beaded component which can be used to create a Pendant or Ornament (instructions for 2 sizes are included) along with a coordinating Stand which can be used to display the piece

The individual components work beautifully to make jewellery themselves and full instructions are given for multiple variations not shown here...

The Instructions

  • Detailed instructions (50+ pages) are included which cover all of the project including all the variations
  • Online videos, which can be watched at any time as many times as you desire which show the whole project being beaded plus useful techniques etc are included so you don't need to attend class if you don't wish to

Sizing

  • The smaller Pendant made using all Small Components is approximately 4½cm/ 1¾ inches across
  • The larger Ornament made using all Large Components is approximately 5½cm/ 2¼ inches across
  • The stand is approximately 4cm/ 1¾ inches tall

Skill Level & Stitches

  • Intermediate to Advanced
  • Participants must be comfortable with Peyote Stitch

Requirements:

A full requirements list for the project will be sent when you book (including the colours I used) but the general requirements are:

  • Size 11 Cylinder beads e.g. Delicas or Aikos
  • Size 11 Miyuki seed beads
  • Needle & thread of choice

Dates & Times:

These classes run on Fridays 20th November & 11th December 2026 each for 3 hours (with a 15-minute break) and will begin at these times (please double check for yourself by clicking the time zone links below and adding in your city and the different dates):

  • UK & Ireland- 6pm
  • Central Europe (e.g. Austria, France, Germany, Netherlands) - 7pm
  • USA/ Canada - AKT - 9am
  • USA/Canada - PT - 10am
  • USA/Canada - MT - 12pm (midday)
  • USA/Canada - CT -12pm (midday)
  • USA/Canada - ET - 1pm
