Love geometrics? Want to explore a new shape beyond triangles? Played with pentagons but want an advanced pattern?

Then this is the project for you!

These instructions cover in detail how to use peyote stitch to create a geometric and patterned pentagon bangles (they can also have a clasp added to be a bracelet instead, or maybe even a necklace...). Instructions for two different versions are included and the Delica bead number is given for all beads used.

This 16-page instant download pattern has text, diagrams and photos. All of my tutorials contain full instructions and tips as well as check lists for all tools, materials and techniques needed to help you shop and plan.

Materials:

  • cylinder beads such as Aikos or Delicas
  • beading thread and needle of choice

These instructions use peyote stitch and are more suitable for someone familiar with the stitch.

These bangles appeared as a project in the April/May 2012 issue of Beadwork Magazine under the title 'Pointy Pentagons'
