After playing around with the heart shape I knew I wanted to join them and make a bracelet.
I began making a prototype and as I was making it I soon realised what needed to be changed:
- The hearts slipped around and moved against each other.
- I had disguised the clasp so you couldn't tell where it was but this meant searching it out when you needed it.
- The way I'd joined the hearts wasn't as visually appealing as I wanted. I felt you could see the 'workings' of the piece and this took away from it being decorative.
So I persevered and addressed all of the issues.
