Phew - it's been a very long time in the planning but the Bead Sparks bead retreat starts tomorrow and so we headed off there today (via Heathrow to pick up a lovely student) with car loads of goodies to greet all the students who are arriving tonight, and to spend a few hours packing goodie bags...

I fell in love with the amazing laser-etched Rivolis from The Old Bicycle Shop when I first saw someone in class with them and then managed to get my hands on some back in May (which I haven't used yet and just keep by my computer so I can see them).

My Jalustra series of beadwork has been in progress for over a decade just looking for an excuse for a multi-day class to spur me on to finish developing it... and what better time to bead it than on a Transatlantic cruise starting in Barcelona!
