I've always had a love for glassware and have vivid memories as a child of colourful glass fruit bowls with scalloped edges on big wooden tables at family homes and I've loved them ever since.

Many, many decades ago I was a bridesmaid for one of my aunts and the day is a magical memory for me. Two of the highlights were the beautiful flower balls we held and our stunning blue dresses (much stronger blue than these old photos show) which were handmade by my talented mum.
