I manged to finish a new Peyote Stitch bracelet today. It was inspired by a scarf I bought recently and will feature as a project in Issue 8 of Bead Magazine. I finished it on the train to Arundel where I go to visit the publishers and take photos for the magazine.

Endured in bit of culture today. Went to the 'Crafting Beauty in Modern Japan' exhibition at The British Museum. You can see some more items pictured here. I absolutely fell in love with Tokuda Yasokichi III's 'Genesis' bowl- so beautiful in real life.

I spent the day with Liz Thornton today and had fun photographing her felt beads project for the next issue of Bead Magazine. I came home eager to get my felt out and make some of my own. Once I'd made them, all I had to do was embellish and string them to have my own funky felt bracelet.

Yet more beaded beads. Went to bead group on Saturday and bought those all essential 2mm crystals to finish these- and anyone who says they're not essential isn't a true beader!

I've finally managed to finish my Beaded Treasure Bracelet which I started back in March! it's a great technique, and so easy to do. I completed the bracelet using a large button I bought a few years ago that was just waiting for the perfect project to be used in.
