When I came away this week, I (as always) packed a ridiculous number of projects to finish, books to read and magazines to peruse. The books have so far stayed unopened, the magazines have been only briefly browsed but at least one of the projects is racing on.

It's funny how life, inspiration and the brain works. Yesterday I came to the computer thinking I was going to write a blog about seeing Dolly Parton in concert, but my sadness about Earnley closing, and its repercussions on students, staff and teachers, took over and I never even mentioned it.

I'm working like mad today as on Sunday I head off to teach at the lovely Earnley Concourse for a week and I have much beading, writing and packing etc to do before then.

I finally gave in and saw my Dr today about my sore finger and the verdict was that it wasn't broken but was probably fractured

Today between my sore finger and bruised and battered body I have to cancel my plan to visit the Treasures of Heaven exhibition at The British Museum with Francesca Walton which is a real shame but hopefully I will get to see it before it finishes.

I'm once again working on my beaded lock and this time am changing the look of it and the beads I'm using. So far it's going well but I'm reserving full judgement until it's all completed.

My new necklace is progressing nicely and I have beaded some more Geometric Crystal Squares and a new Crystal Star. This one is my first reversible one which fits in with the rest of the necklace which will be fully reversible.
