I am such a wimp sometimes it's annoying. I'm like an ostrich with my head in the sand but instead I'd much rather hide my head in my crochet than deal with tricky tasks but today I outdid myself with facing scary things.

Over the years I have accumulated so many pieces, frames, rings, pendants etc which are crying out for decoration and had never got around to using them. But now that I own lots of colours of Crystal Clay there's no excuse for them sitting empty...

Whilst rummaging for yarn to begin a new knitting project I remembered a crochet blanket I began about 7 years ago. I thought I'd only made about 4 blocks so figured I could ignore them and use the yarn for something else

I've once again convinced myself I can knit and to prove it have even finished my first ever knitting project (well I once knitted once sock but it didn't fit, was wonky and I never made the second one, so I don't think that counts).
