After getting up at 4am for my flight yesterday I fell asleep as soon as I got home and when I woke I was so cold and tired it seemed sensible to ignore all the very urgent beading I have to do and instead focus on starting yet another new scarf project.

It's a sunny day and a national holiday so we headed out to Bekonscot Model Village to enjoy the sunshine and take photos of ourselves looking like giants.

I'm still working on geometric projects using tila beads but my pallette has switched to my favourite Delica colour- 331 and brown/ bronze tilas. I'm enjoying using the beads a lot and the new twist they've put on some 'old favourites' of mine.

So many new shapes of beads have entered the market in the past couple of years and so far I've mainly steered away from them. The main reason for this is I have a life-times worth of projects in my mind for just Delicas and seed beads so other beads don't always get much of a look in!
