One of the downsides to beading is the sheer amount of time it can take to make something so unfortunately I guess many of my ideas for projects and variations will never see the light of day unless I can come up with a way to bead in my sleep.

Unfortunately when travelling over to Florida I managed to get a bad cold and as I no longer bounce back like I used to it's still hanging around exhausting me and my voice is almost gone

Back in April when I was last in Florida I went on a segway ride and once I got over my initial terror I loved it so on this return visit I can't wait to go again.

I have long been a fan of the work of Sabine Lippert and it's seemed like for the past few years we've chased each other around the globe never managing to meet. So when I discovered she would be teaching in Florida around the same time I would be there I flew in early to meet her and take a class.

I'm at Charisma Beads all weekend teaching and although I forgot to take a photo of all the Geometric Suspensions begun I did manage to take one of the beads I'm using for my latest version.

I've been crazily busy lately and up all night with insomnia so when I got an email asking me for lunch I leapt at the chance knowing that although it would eat into my day it would pay me back many times over in replenishment.
