Soon after I first began working on my Lotus Necklace, back in April 2012, I fell instantly in love with it. Often as I have to spend lots of hours finishing a project my love for it wanes, but not with this piece.

My original Liekulis Necklace grew out of a desire to use the wonderful Soft-Touch/ Polaris resin cabochons which have a glow about them so they look as though they are lit from within- glorious.

The thing I like most about beading is starting a new project. The anticipation of whether the idea will work, discovering how the chosen colours combine and seeing an idea I had come to life in my hands. Once I'm past that stage I just want to rush onto the next project.
