Unbelievably I seem to have beaded everything on my 'I need to bead this before I can do anything else' list and although my mind is filled with so many new ideas and projects I can't settle on any particular one and so have rooted out my Emily Peacock tapestry to do.

Since we moved house my walk to the post office is a lot nicer and the addition of the great sunny and summery weather we're having at the moment makes it a real treat.

I've been home from New York for about 120 hours and am delighted to say that in that time I managed to get Geometric Beadwork Volume 2 all done and off to the printers!

Today's our last day in New York for this trip, and probably until 2016, so I absolutely have to visit CJS, an amazing store/ warehouse/ wholesaler that I have visited on every trip here and love getting to see.

Today I'm teaching Rick-Racks for the Bead Society of Greater New York and it was such fun and gave me the urge to bead yet another one and play with the colour and patterns.

More manipulating today followed by some fun with a visit to Purl Soho (a shop which is worth a visit just to see its beauty) where I treated myself to a needlepoint kit and lunch at Pinche Taqueria where looking back we ate pretty much the same we ate last time - and it was still good.
