I'm still working on my new bangles - based off rooting out some samples I beaded a few years ago - and although I can now get them to physically work I'm not entirely happy with them.

The new set of bangles I'm working on are coming together. These combine 2 different stitches which is fun and has got me back to beading brick stitch which isn't a stitch I use much at all.

Mr Jean Power and I are still hunting (nearly 8 years now) for the perfect sofa, and now also some storage for all the cocktail books I've managed to accumulate, so today we headed off to a show hosted by The Modern Marketplace to peruse some beautiful items.

There's only so much brick stitch rope I can do at any one sitting without needing a break so this evening I've treated myself to stringing components and finishing my Armarria necklace and new bracelet.
