Yesterday we travelled to France to escape for a bit, catch-up on some sleep and feel some peace, only to have the news of the night's awful events keep me awake all night as the horror unfolded and my heart broke at the reintroduction of fear to Europe.

A trip out this evening to a Cognac event (involving Hine Cognac) hosted by the ever lovely Shaken Cocktails and it was a good excuse to wear a cocktail-inspired bead embroidery bangle that I created a few months back.

At Boxes & Busts yesterday I stocked up on some SuperDuos as I didn't think I owned many and wanted to do a project using a few colours... hmm guess I'd forgotten how many I'd accumulated... and just how much I love those greens/ blues.
