I managed to snap up these amazing vintage Swarovski crystals a few years ago and immediately knew exactly how I wanted to use them and now I'm finally putting beads to thread and the idea is taking shape.

It's a chilly but dry and bright day - just perfect for a walk around the beautiful Harrow On The Hill and doing a spot of geocaching whilst enjoying the incredible views from being so high up over London.

I've resisted taking down all the Christmas decorations (huge inflatable balls, Christmas burger & carrot et al) as it's nice to be surrounded by so much colour and glitz but today they all went away so I can enjoy them anew in a few months.

I'm still beading away and last night, as I was 'admiring' the wonderful colours and shine of these chocolate & kirsch covered cherries and their packaging, there was an almighty bang from the kitchen and then the sound of a million pieces of glass tinkling down onto the floor...
