I'm a big fan of Rosa Pietsch and am lucky enough to have some of her jewellery so when I saw she was doing workshops to make earrings I was tempted to jump on a train and do one... but then even better she came to London so I snapped up a ticket as soon as I could!
Sadly my laser-cutting fun came to an abrupt stop 5 years ago and I've been meaning to get back to it but have never found the time so this way I got to have all the fun of playing with colour and making baeutiful jewellery without having to do any designing or technical work - heaven!
Rosa provided 2 designs we could choose form ( I chose to make some of each) and trays of beautiful components in lots of colours so we could sit and put them together like jigsaws trying to perfect the exact colours we wanted.
It was good fun and amazing how the slightest change could have a huge impact on the end result.
I went home with some lovely pieces I know I'll enjoy wearing and also some other bits I picked up at the lovely craft fair this was part of organised by Crafty Fox Market. It's been years since I've managed to get to a craft market so I couldn't resist taking advantage of all the gorgeous work on display.
