Kew Gardens in London is one of my favourite places to visit (I love it so much I even beaded a vessel inspired by it) but I keep missing out on the blooming of a Titan Arum.
So this year I was determined that if one bloomed I'd go and see it so I've been keeping a close eye on their social media each day and today as one reached full bloom I changed my plans so that I could see it.
It is quite an incredible plant to see: so tall and full of colour, and whilst there was only a mild inoffensive smell it was a real treat to see it.
