Whilst the Summer 2025 Secret Beadalong was running I was actually mostly in Paris where I headed to meet-up with my parents and also see lots of wonderful exhibitions.

The main reason I was going was to see the incredible David Hockney retrospective at the Louis Vuitton foundation. This show has over 400 pieces of his work spanning 70 years of creating.

David Hockney is probably my favourite artist as I adore the use of colour, perspective & scale in his work as well as his embrace of different mediums, especially his incredible iPad art.

He never seems afraid of diving in and creating whether that's on the small screen or huge wall sized work.

I waited for the visit for months and it absolutely lived up to my expectations with his incredible work in an amazing setting.
I could waffle on about all I saw but his work speaks for itself as you can see here.
