Another full day packed with amazing things.

We began with a walk to Casa Batlló which was designed by Antoni Gaudi and features amazing decoration as well as a great rooftop, where a few of us stopped for a glass of fizz in the sun admiring the view.

Next up was an amazing lunch (all the food here is so good) and then a trip to Casa Milà (also designed by Gaudi) which is an incredible apartment block featuring his trademark design details (including some wonderful geometric structure work) and again an amazing roof full of unique adornment.

Gaudi's work is truly amazing and I've really enjoyed learning more about him and his design ethos and choices which you can see all around you as you visit the places he worked on. I could just bead things inspired by his work by the rest of my life and I look forward to using some of his inspiration in my upcoming beadwork...
