Our first full day in Barcelona with Beadventures begins with a walking-tour of the city which showed us just how beautiful and interesting this city is.

I don't think I've ever visited anywhere so ornately decorated. Everywhere you look is pattern, texture & colour. No wall, floor or even balcony underside goes unadorned which leads to many photos being taken and ideas being formed...

Even the street tiles are ornate and I must see more than 30 designs over my trip but the main one is the simple Panot Flower design -you see this design everywhere as it had been adopted as a symbol of the city and I even ended up buying jewellery with it on and beading my own.

After the tour (and a wonderful lunch) we had an open-top bus tour which showed us a different side of the city and we got to see our first look at the star we've come to bead.
