One of my favourite paintings is of Smeaton's lighthouse by Tracey Oldham and I can never resist a walk along Smeaton's Pier at any time of day.
Today we visited as the sun was beginning to set and the golden glow was beautiful.
During the day we went for a long walk over cliffs, dunes and the beach - heaven.
