I'm at the School of Artisan Food for a 2-day course with the amazing Ivan Day for a course called 'English Banqueting and Dessert Dishes'.
It was a joy to use such beautiful tools and learn so much from Ivan as we prepared flummery, jelly, different gingerbreads & sugar paste plus Hippocras wine working from recipes that are hundreds of years old.
Today was mostly about preparation for the unmoulding tomorrow…
