My Beading Year 2022 - Day 6

posted: Sunday, 01 May 2022

It's Day 6 of #mybeadingyear in 2022 and today's prompt is about what you've done so far in 2022.

For all sorts of reasons I've not got nearly as much beading done so far as I'd like but I've loved what I have done which includes:

  • Treasure Chest: this advanced & intricate project has been in the works for a while and it was great to get it all beaded, photographed & written up.
I'll be adding new class dates for it next week so keep an eye out for that
  • Summer 2022 Secret Beadalong: this is of course still a secret but all will become clear during the 'beading-along-together' dates in June… you can still sign-up to take part and choose if you want written instructions or videos & written instructions
  • Crystal Princess set: this pendant & earrings kit was on-hold for a long time whilst I waited for the supplies from Swarovski but I finally launched it as a kit (it's sold-out)
  • Causeway: this jewellery set with its own stand/ storage box was fun to bead and I took myself out of my colour comfort zone with some pastels. This is a current class
  • Ochrana: it was fun to teach this pattern again and I took the opportunity to add to it with new variations
  • Something new which is under-wraps for now… this advanced project has been in progress for a good few years as I experimented with finding the best balance between its looks & size as well as making it easier to bead and easier to explain for others to bead but I think I've finally cracked it and it will launch as a pattern/ video soon…
